Terms of Service

These terms keep things fair in both directions. Plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us before you agree.

1. What Mendoria is

Mendoria is a self-development tool: journaling, habit rituals, reflective AI conversations, and educational content drawn from psychology and wisdom traditions. It is not therapy, medical care, or crisis support — see the Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account.

3. Your content

Everything you write remains yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display it back to you — and to send it to an AI provider when you use an AI feature. We claim no other rights, and the license ends when you delete the content or your account.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Mendoria to harm others or yourself: no harassment, hate, or abuse in community spaces; no attempting to extract other people's data; no scraping, reselling, or reverse-engineering the service; no automated account creation. We may remove content or suspend accounts that put others at risk, with an explanation whenever we responsibly can.

5. Plans and billing

Free stays free. Paid plans bill through Stripe monthly or yearly, start with the advertised free-trial period, and can be cancelled anytime from Settings → Billing — you keep access through the period you paid for. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, never retroactively.

6. AI features

AI responses are generated reflections, not professional advice, and can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit for your situation. Daily usage limits apply per plan. You remain responsible for decisions you make.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for the service to be dependable but provide it "as is," without uptime guarantees. We may evolve features over time; if we ever discontinue Mendoria, you will get at least 60 days and a one-click export before anything is deleted.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Ending things

You can delete your account anytime in Settings — it takes effect immediately. We may terminate accounts that materially violate these terms.
